Cookie Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how Kinetiqo Ltd uses cookies and similar storage technologies on the Kinetiqo website, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage — let a site remember information between visits. Together they help a website function and remember your preferences.

How we use them

We keep our use deliberately minimal. Today, Kinetiqo uses only essential local storage to remember your interface preferences, such as whether you have chosen the light or dark theme. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Categories we use

Storage on the Kinetiqo site falls into these categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work, such as security and basic functionality. These do not require consent.
  • Preferences — remember your choices, such as your theme. We store the theme in your browser's local storage.
  • Analytics — not currently in use. If we introduce analytics, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner before any non-essential storage is set.

Managing cookies and storage

You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove them, though doing so may affect how the site remembers your preferences.

Under PECR, non-essential cookies require your consent. Because we do not yet set any non-essential cookies, no consent banner is shown. If that changes, we will provide a banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential storage before it is set.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. When we do, we will revise the last-updated date at the top of this page.
